Rose Mari Grigsby is a woman of many faucets, which may explain the variety in her work. She is an observer of many trials and tribulations of life in her community and country. She considers herself a harvester of the fruit she planted decades ago. This seed she planted started where she grew up in Indiana was continued in Chi Town and St. Louis. And for many years she has been planting seed in Los Angeles, California where she currently resides.

Many great people have blessed her life throughout her journey. Some of them are Charles Wright, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Biz Markie, Kool Moe Dee, Tone Loc, Hammer Berry White, Johnny Cochran, Bishop Charles Blake, Bishop Fredrick Jacobs, and Henry Hirsh. Including her first manager, Tom Davis “The Silver Fox,” where ever he may be.

Rose wrote and produced the movie, “At Rusk,” while a teenager. She also entertained on military bases and traveled abroad. She discovered a black woman can go anywhere in the world and be anything she wants to be with very little drama.

Besides being an author, she worked as a staff writer for C.O.R.E California, appeared as a co-host on several talk shows, and was a guest on a national syndicated show. She is also the star host for ThinkBigRadio in California.

She is a strong black American who raised her five children, passionately pursued her writing career, received her college degree in business administration, and is still touching hearts today with her books and audio recordings. Her most listened to audio recorded CD is, “Listen.” And Rose is most known for her book, “Jewels of the Earth.” Listen and know that we are jewels of the earth and the world is yours.
